The use of PowerPoint presentations as a tool to aid in presenting content has been tied to creating significantly better learning environments as well as holding attention of students for longer periods of time. Further, research has shown that PowerPoint as an instructional tool can be used to present more interesting presentations through the use of animations and other multimedia features that will increase student motivation. OfficeMix is a free plug-in tool for PowerPoint that you will learn about in this workshop to help you design and create more effective PowerPoint presentations. You will create interactive quizzes right on your presentation in addition to mark-ups, audio, and video recordings.
