  • January 9, 2017 - January 10, 2017
    2:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Part 1 – Intro to USAonline: Course sites, Accessibility, Syllabus, ILC services overview

Part 2 – Testing and Quizzing in USAonline, Designing Forums
This four-part training will help you best navigate the tools and features of the USAonline learning management system. This workshop is a must for anyone teaching hybrid courses or completely online courses at USA and is also beneficial for faculty members in using the web-enghancement component for on-campus courses. Research on faculty development at the University of Denver showed that participants attending online course design workshops increased their motivation to teach online again and provided particpants with a variety of resources to improve their technical skills to teach online. They also found it increased faculty buy-in. Similarly, our USAonline Fundamentals series will expose to you these benfits. In order to receive your certification for this training, you successfully complete all four parts. References:Keairns, K. (2016).
