Team-Based Learning for Statistics Class

Team-based learning (TBL) has advantages over the traditional lecture-based method in terms of course coverage, grasp of knowledge points, teamwork skills, and application for problem solving. Based on our experience of applying TBL for Statistics courses in the past two semesters, we will summarize the successes and failures of our TBL practice, and we will present and discuss some possible remedies for further improvements.
